Annie’s style hits

12 Jul

Throughout her 30+ years in the music business Annie Lennox’s style has changed with the times and yet remained unique.  We’ve seen the androgynous tailored suits and cropped orange hair; extravagant diva; ethereal Angel and feminine beauty – all immaculately pulled off with effortless elegance and, for want of a better word, coolness.

From 15th September 2011 to 26th February 2012 the V&A is treating us to view a collection of her costumes, awards, videos and photos in a new exhibition.  A must-visit for the pop-pickers out there.

Style and good looks, not to mention height, have clearly been passed down to her daughters, one of which – Tali Lennox – appears in the August 2011 issue of Vogue – see slide-show below.

Have I ever told you I saw Annie Lennox on one of the Top of the Pops I went to?  Hello… you still there?…  That’s just plain rude.
